Privacy Policy

When you send the form on our site, we get:

• Your name and email
• Your phone number, if you add it
• What you need help with, in your own words
• How you found us: the first page you visited, the button you tapped, the website that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link (like utm_source)

To remember how you found us, the site saves a small note in your browser. It stays on your device and only reaches us if you send the form. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes it.

We never ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, or ID numbers. Please do not type them into the form.

• To answer your request and set up a call if you want one
• To learn which pages and links bring people to us, so we can make the site more useful

We do not use your information for anything else unless we ask you first.

Our team sees it. Form entries are stored in Google Workspace (Google Forms, Sheets, and Gmail), which holds the data for us. Wix hosts the website. If you book a call, Google Calendar handles the booking.

We may use an AI service (Claude, made by Anthropic) to help write our reply to you. If you used a work email, it may also read your organization's public homepage so the reply fits your work. It looks at the organization only, never at you personally. A person on our team reads every reply before it is sent.

We never sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Sending the form does not sign you up for a mailing list or for the Advocacy and Access Network. Joining the network is a separate sign-up, and only you can choose it.

When you join the network, we get:

• Your name and email
• How you are joining: individual, supporter, or organization
• For organizations, the organization's name and a contact
• Whether you want updates, and whether you want your name shown

Network sign-ups are kept in their own Google Sheet, separate from consulting requests. Everyone who joins is counted. Your name appears on the network page only if you check the box to show it, and then only as your first name and last initial, or your organization's name. Your full last name, email, and phone are never shown. To change or remove your name, email support@scrybesolutions.com.

Paid memberships are one-time payments made through Square. Square handles your card, and we never see your card number.

We keep your information for up to 2 years after we last hear from you, then delete it. If you become a client, we keep the records the work and the law require for as long as they require.

Email support@scrybesolutions.com with the subject "Delete my info." Send it from the email you gave us so we can find your entry. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you, how we got it, and how we use it
• Get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell or share it, so you are already out.
• Be treated the same whether or not you use these rights

To use any of these rights, email support@scrybesolutions.com. We may ask you to reply from the email you gave us to confirm it is you. Someone you authorize can also ask for you. We answer within 30 days.

Only our team can open the lead sheet. No system is perfect, so we collect only what we need to help you.

This site is for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child sent us their information, email us and we will delete it.
